CR-515 Inside Acrylic - Interior Floor Sealer
CR-515 Inside Acrylic is a clear, water-based sealer for interior concrete floors. It gives decorative concrete a low-gloss finish while slightly deepening the appearance of the color. Its low-odor formula makes it a practical choice for residential floors with everyday foot traffic.
Why choose Inside Acrylic?

Soap-and-water tool cleanup
Coverage
The first coat covers approximately 250–350 sq. ft. per gallon. An optional second coat covers approximately 350–400 sq. ft. per gallon. Actual coverage depends on the concrete’s porosity and how much material is applied.
Preparation and application
The concrete must be clean, completely dry, and free of contaminants. Reactive Acid Chemical (RAC) stained concrete must be neutralized and thoroughly cleaned before sealing. Water Reducible Concentrate (WRC) stain must be fully cured.
Stir and strain CR-515 before application. Apply with a high-quality 3/8-inch nap lint-free roller, or a 1/4-inch nap mohair roller on smooth surfaces. Work into a wet edge and avoid excessive back-rolling. If applying a second coat, roll it perpendicular to the first. A suitable HVLP or airless sprayer may also be used.
Do not thin CR-515. Review the Technical Data Sheet before starting your project for complete preparation, application, temperature, and moisture requirements.
Drying and maintenance
At 75°F and medium humidity, CR-515 can be recoated after approximately 2 hours, accepts light foot traffic after approximately 4 hours, and reaches full cure after approximately 72 hours. Cooler temperatures or higher humidity extend these times.
For a renewable maintenance layer, use CR-520 Inside Floor Finish after the sealer has fully cured. CR-515 is intended for interior floors. It is not suitable for exterior use, hot-tire exposure, or floors exposed to harsh chemicals.
200 square feet per gallon. Coverage varies with the surface texture of the concrete, temperature of the concrete, and ambient conditions.
Concrete must be clean and free of dirt, dust, oil, grease, mold and mildew, and any other contaminants.
RAC Stained concrete must be neutralized, thoroughly cleaned, and dry prior to sealing.
WRC & TSC/Active Elements Stained concrete must be completely cured prior to sealing.
ROLLER
Stir well before use. Pour CR-515 Inside Acrylic through a strainer prior to use. Apply by using a high quality 3/8” nap lint free roller cover, or 1/4” nap mohair roller cover (for smooth surfaces). Dip directly into a roller pan and distribute the material by rolling laterally and then up and down (crosshatch rolling). Roll the material into a wet edge, and avoid excessive back rolling. When applying 2 coats of sealer roll the second coat perpendicular to the first.
SPRAYER – HVLP or Airless
Stir well before use. Pour CR-515 Inside Acrylic through a strainer prior to use. Spray Inside Acrylic using an airless or HVLP spray system. Do When applying 2 coats, spray the second coat perpendicular to the first.
Always use a chemical respirator when spraying with an airless or HVLP spray system.
Keep containers closed when not in use, unattended open material will form a skin on the surface.
