The Mongoose X is a lightweight, high-performance concrete engraving saw designed for control, visibility and versatility. Its spring-loaded cutting head lets the operator press down to enter the cut and release to lift the blade, creating cleaner starts and stops.
Choose the Mongoose X when your work includes straight lines, tile patterns, ashlar, polygons, circles or arcs—and you want a portable tool that can operate low-profile or with the optional removable upright handle.

Connect an appropriate vacuum to the side-mounted port to capture dust near the blade. Follow applicable silica-dust requirements.

Mongoose X FAQs
What types of designs can the Mongoose X create?+
The Mongoose X can engrave straight lines, tile, slate, random block, ashlar, running-bond block and geometric designs. With the center pivot it can also produce precise circles and arcs.
What is the difference between the saw package and ProPack?+
The saw package includes the Mongoose X with a 0.125-inch blade. The ProPack adds the removable handle, four blade widths, center pivot, connecting tubes, trammel-point kit, extension switch and storage locker. Check the product page for current contents.
Does the Mongoose X include a blade?+
The standard saw package currently includes a 3.1-inch by 0.125-inch premium USA diamond blade. The ProPack lists four blade widths. Verify the selected product variant before ordering.
Can the Mongoose X be used standing up?+
Yes. A removable upright handle is available and is included in the current ProPack listing. The handle can be removed using two set screws when a low-profile configuration is preferred.
How deep can the Mongoose X cut?+
The current product specifications list a maximum cutting depth of 1/4 inch. Choose the groove depth and blade width appropriate for the planned decorative design.
