Harsh chemicals and cleaners will degrade the surface. If surface gloss is reduced, buff with a soft cotton cloth. If the luster is not restored by buffing, reapply a thin coat of CounterTop Wax then buff.
Concrete must be clean and free of dirt, dust, oil, grease, mold and mildew, and any other contaminants. Acid stained concrete must be neutralized, thoroughly cleaned, and dry prior to waxing.
Apply a thin layer of CounterTop Wax using a soft cotton cloth. To increase the depth of penetration use a heat gun or hair dryer to liquefy the wax for best absorption into the surface . Allow to dry then buff with a soft cotton cloth. For best results repeat this process again. (Some rough surfaces may require several additional coats) If a higher gloss is required use an electric buffer with a cloth bonnet to develop a higher shine.
